Who is this person being?

People defend the version of themselves they understand. No strategy survives contact with a threatened identity.

What game are they playing?

Behavior looks irrational when you assume the wrong objective. Direction reveals what the person is actually optimizing for.

What is the room doing?

Context shapes behavior before personality gets a vote. Pressure, incentives, memory, status, and fear all enter the room.

What move fits now?

Action is the last layer, not the first. The right move becomes obvious after the earlier layers are visible.
