I’ve been paid to read tarot since 2009, mostly at campus nights with a line out the door and three minutes a person. So I use one card, not ten. Twenty-two cards, not seventy-eight.
That’s the whole method, and it’s what’s in here. You’ll learn how to sit down across from anyone, ask one question, and hand them back their own life in about three minutes.

Description
Most tarot books hand you seventy-eight cards and a ten-card spread and wish you luck. That’s why most people buy a beautiful deck, get a third of the way into learning it, and put it in a drawer.
I read tarot for a living, and I don’t do it that way.
Most of my work happens at college campuses. There’s a buffet in one corner, a balloon twister in the other, and a line at my table longer than I have time to get through. Somebody waits 90 minutes to sit down for 3 minutes. That kind of situation strips out everything that doesn’t work, fast, and what it left me with is a method built on twenty-two cards where you turn over exactly one.
3 minutes, 1 card, and people stop me years later to talk about it.
What you’ll be able to do
Sit down with a stranger or a friend and have a conversation that matters to them. Open it so they relax. Ask the one question that gets them talking about what they actually came in with. Say a hard thing in a way they can pick up and carry. End it cleanly without it feeling like a shove.
What’s in the book
Eighteen short chapters, about thirty pages. Chapters one through four are what this is and what I’m not claiming. Five through twelve are the reading itself, start to finish, one chapter per move. Thirteen through sixteen are the deck, ending with all twenty-two cards explained. The last two are where to get a deck and why I have no problem charging for this.
What’s in the video
An hour. I run the whole reading the way I actually run it and stop along the way to explain each decision. Then how the deck is put together, which is the part that makes individual cards make sense instead of feeling like a list to memorize. Then all twenty-two, one at a time, indexed so you can jump to any card before a reading.
One thing I want to be straight about
This isn’t the historically correct way to read tarot and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. I’m a student of history and a fan of these cards, not an authority on them. I also spent thirteen years with the James Randi Educational Foundation investigating claims of the supernatural, and thirty years working as a mentalist. I know exactly how this works, which is why I can teach it as a skill instead of a gift.
Nothing in here asks you to believe anything.
Who this isn’t for
If you want the traditional correspondences, decades of tradition, and the authoritative version, this will read as sloppy to you and you should skip it. If you want to predict the future, that’s not what this does. If you’re never going to read for another human being, this is a book about a conversation and you’ll get nothing from it.
